Candidates applying for SSC Stenographer Examination 2022 should meet the following criteria:
- Passed 10+2 Intermediate Exam from Any Recognized Board in India.
- Stenographer Grade D Transcription:

(a) Details of the Computer Based Examination:

(b) The question paper will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice, and the questions will be set in both English and Hindi languages.
(c) Negative marking of one-third of the marks allotted to the question will be applied for each wrong answer in the Computer Based Examination. Candidates should keep this in mind while answering the questions.
(d) Marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Examination, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized using the formula published by the Commission vide Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019. Normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.
(e) Tentative Answer Keys of the Computer Based Examination will be made available on the Commission’s website after the examination. Candidates can check the Answer Keys and submit online representations, if any, within the given time limit by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 100/- per question. Representations through any other modes, such as letters, applications, emails, etc., will not be entertained. The Commission’s decision regarding the Answer Keys will be final.
(f) The examination dates mentioned in the Notice are tentative. Any changes in the schedule will be communicated to candidates only through the Commission’s website.
(g) There is no provision for re-evaluation/re-checking of scores of any stage/paper(s) of the Examination. The Commission will not entertain any correspondence in this regard.
