How to Apply for SSC GD Constable Recruitment
Applications must be submitted online at the official website of the Commission, https://ssc.nic.in.
In the online Application Form, upload a scanned colour passport size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). The image dimensions should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
According to the Supreme Court’s Order dated 05.03.2020, the photograph should not be more than three months old from the date of publication of the examination notice. It should be without a cap and spectacles, and the frontal view of the face should be clearly visible.
The last date and time for submitting online applications are 31-12-2023 (23:00).
Candidates are advised to submit applications well before the closing date to avoid possible disconnection or login failure due to heavy website traffic on the closing days.
The Commission will not be responsible if candidates cannot submit applications by the last date due to reasons beyond its control.
Before submission, candidates must ensure correct details are filled in each field of the online form.
Application Fee:
Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs One hundred only).
Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, and ESM eligible for reservation are exempted from the fee.
Fee payment options: BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit, or Debit cards.
Fee payment can be done online until 01-01-2024 (2300 Hours). No other payment modes are available.
Applications without the prescribed fee will not be considered and will be summarily rejected. No representations against such rejection will be entertained.
Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances, nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
Candidates not exempted from fee payment must ensure their fee is deposited with SSC. The status of fee payment can be verified at the ‘Payment Status’ link in the candidate’s login screen.
Applications that remain incomplete due to non-receipt of fee will be summarily rejected. No requests for consideration or fee payment after the specified period will be entertained.
